Describe Yourself:
so this is me: i love to laugh out loud, share cupcakes and udon soup (not in that particular combination, if you please). i love witty banter but never want to feel like i've always got to be on. love to spar, share jokes, be sweet and cool, but can enjoy those uncomfortable silences. i love blueberry pies, hiking, anything that requires physical activity and i'm a book gal with toweing book cases. some girls swoon over shoes, give me a first edition nabokov and i'm on planet bliss. i love to travel (taiwan in november, everywhere else next year)...i'm a planner, i'm organized but never take myself quite so seriously. i'm pretty independent, pretty secure about myself and have finally found a life and career i enjoy...
i also have a memoir coming out in Feb 08 from Algonquin Books entitled, THE SKY ISN'T VISIBLE FROM HERE.
